Located on the seafront road between Cascais and Boca do Inferno, next door to the former residence of King Humberto II of Italy and a 2 minute walk from the marina and centre of Cascais.
Today this Palacete, built in 1923 is emblematic of the traditional majestic properties constructed on the Cascais coastline in the first half of the 20th Century and is unique in remaining as a private residence.
In 2005, the Palacete Frei Nicolau underwent a total restoration with the principal objective of maintaining the original architectural philosophy. The restoration has succeeded in providing all the requirements of modern living with 21st Century bathrooms, kitchens, garages, heating and insulation whilst the structure and detail has been painstakingly restored to it´s former glory by the use of original materials. The result is a perfect combination of historical charm with modern amenities.
Every effort has been made to take advantage of the spectacular sea views from within the property and the surrounding terraces and in equal measure the restoration has sought to capture Cascais´ exceptional natural light into all rooms.
